BOISE, Idaho (CBS2) — 48 Hours returns Saturday and the team will be taking a special, hour-long look at the University of Idaho student murders case.
The team will be covering evidence that has not been released before, hearing from family members of the students, and looking at the case against Bryan Kohberger.
For the first time in nearly a year, some of the people involved in the case had a reason to smile, and even feel a tinge of hope. Kaylee Goncalves' sister Olivia recently gave birth to a new baby girl, and in what the Goncalves family are calling a sign, she was born in hospital room 1113 around 4:21 in the morning. Kaylee, Ethan, Madison, and Xana were murdered on November 13, or 11/13 at roughly 4:21 a.m.
Olivia said that from her hospital room she could see, for the first time in years, a rainbow over the hospital in east LA. The Goncalves family says that for the first time they feel a little hope for the future, and believe that Kaylee is ok.
Watch the full episode at 9:00 p.m. on Saturday for the full investigation.
